On January 27, 2018, the Faculty of Ilmu Terapan dan Sains of IPI Garut was established based on the Rector's Decree No. 022\/IPI.R\/SK\/I\/2018. The Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FATS) is part of the Institut Pendidikan Indonesia Garut and is managed under the Yayasan Griya Winaya Garut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its establishment, the Faculty of Ilmu Terapan dan Sains has offered 5 undergraduate (S1) programs, namely: the Mathematics Education Program (Accredited Excellent), the Biology Education Program (Accredited B), the Information Systems Program (Accredited Good), and the Information Technology Education Program, which successfully received an \"Excellent\" accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency (LAMDIK) for Higher Education Institutions on October 24, 2022, through LAMDIK Decree No. 355\/SK\/LAMDIK\/Ak\/S\/X\/2022.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Faculty of Ilmu Terapan dan Sains IPI Garut succeeded in maintaining its position amidst the challenges of globalization and intense competition among higher education institutions, especially in the fields of Education and Technology in the East Priangan region of West Java.
